Restoring and Reports

NOTE: If you don’t see certain tools in your course Navbar, you can find them by clicking on the Course Admin tab.

How to Restore a Quiz Attempt (Written Instructions) 

You can use the Quiz Log Identify, and restore deleted quiz attempts.

To Restore a Quiz Attempt:

  • From Quizzes, click the context menu of the quiz you want to restore. 
  • Click Attempt Logs.
  • Overview displays, here you can filter by: 
    • Quiz Entry 
    • Quiz Completion 
    • Quiz Attempt Deleted 
    • Quiz Attempt Restored.  
  • You can also view a detailed attempt log by clicking Detailed.  
  • Click Restore. 
  • Navigate to the restored attempt to view your restored Quiz Attempt. 

How to Create a Quiz Report (Written Instructions) 

Quiz reports allow you to gather information on learner performance. 

To create a Quiz Report:

  • From Quizzes, click the drop down menu next to the quiz to which you want to add the report. 
  • Click Setup Reports. 
  • Click Add Report. 
  • Enter a Report Name. 
  • Select one of the five report types: 
    • Question Statistics: used to identify potentially problematic questions. 
    • Question Details: used to assess the quality and characteristics of quizzes and individual items in a quiz. 
    • Users Statistics: used to evaluate how learners are performing in a quiz. 
    • Attempt Details: used to measure the completion time for the quiz and individual questions. 
    • User Attempts: used to identify which learners have tried the quiz. 
  • Using the calendar, select the date the report will be released. 
  • Select the audience for the report.
  • Click Save to finish setting up the report. 
  • Click Save and Close to finalize the report.
